This is JoJo! What a wonderful, mature girl she is!!  She has the whole package - beauty and kindness and impeccable manners! JoJo has lived in a family with other cats, and tensions have risen to the point where JoJo is not happy. She loves her people (including kids!) and has lived with a dog, harmoniously. However, other cats and she are not mixing at all right now. She is in search of a new home where she will be the only cat. She is loving and kind, has an amazing purr, and just wants to be loved! JoJo is also GREAT about using her scratching posts and trees! Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!



  • $250 for purebred/highly requested kittens (6 months & under)

  • $150 for purebred/highly requested cats (older than 6 months)

  • $150 for kittens (6 months & under)   

  • $75 for cats (older than 6 months)   

  • $35 for senior cats (8 years or older)

Our adoption process is:



1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.



2. We'll contact you to schedule a home visit.



3. If the pet looks like a great match, fill out our Adoption Agreement online (or Foster-to-Adopt Agreement), pay the Adoption Fee, and arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
